Dawn has been sewing since she was a small child, creating doll clothes from the scraps given to her by her mother. She started her encore career as an artist working in reclaimed materials several years ago by making hats from reclaimed felted sweaters.

Her teaching style allows the student to open up to their own inner creative energies by providing a variety of materials and ideas to use as inspiration. She comes to the art world after twenty years as a Landscape Architect and Park Planner.
