Fiona Smith

Dance Instructor

Fiona is a local artist who loves to tell stories and connect with others through movement. They started their dance training at age 11 learning ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and tap. Since then, they have trained in a variety of other styles such as ballroom, heels, hip hop, and house and are always eager to learn more. In 2021, Fiona graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Oregon State University, and has been sharing their scientific knowledge of the body and movement through teaching weekly classes and workshops for children, teens, and adults. In addition to teaching, Fiona loves to perform and choreograph, and has had the opportunity to choreograph for showcases, university events, a high school acapella group, and their own personal projects. Most recently they have backup danced for music artists at local shows and performed with Congruency Collective in their tap fusion show Spectra. They love to collaborate with other dancers and artists and they hope to continue to build community through their teaching and choreography.
