Office & Marketing Lead
Prior to coming into parks John has produced and directed a variety of independent films including “Kill em’ Dead” and “Eviction Notice,” and co-directed the documentary, “Spanish Inquisition” for the History Channel. He’s also worked with several prominent production companies including FOX, CHANNEL 49, MTV, CBN the 700 CLUB and COMCAST SPOTLIGHT and produced his own show, “Live In Portland,” for two seasons.
As Media Manager & Special Event coordinator of the University of Portland’s Film Department and an instructor, he’s also had the opportunity to share his wealth of skills and mentor to young film makers. John had created the very first interactive classrooms at the University of Portland including the live operational Simman for the school of nursing, John had implemented the sound and lighting at the University soccer stadium during the championship years and it still goes strong today. As a previous student and employee at the University of Portland John says he still has purple running through his veins.
John has been associated with a verity of production companies that encompasses a wide variety of artistic endeavors: filmmaking, theatrical performances, writing, marketing, producing, and model and artist management. John is currently Mercedes Benz of Portland/Beaverton I Portland Fashion & Style Awards Audio/Visual Marketing Production Director for their special events.
John is excited to be part of the Multnomah Arts Center and he feels his experience and skill level will help benefit the art center. Most of all he’s looking forward working and being part of an awesome team and supporting the community any way possible.
