Terrie officially joined the MAC team as their newest Customer Service Lead in fall 2021. She brings with her decades of experience working within Portland Parks & Recreation. She started her career in community building within PP&R as the indoor park supervisor at East Portland Community Center, eventually adding teaching classes to her EPCC portfolio (Baby Music, Sing Along, and Trampoline classes to name a few!).

She was then asked to run a drop-in art class at Montavilla Community Center and an Art Park at Matt Dishman Community Center. From there she transitioned in 2011 to working the front desk at EPCC and MOCC.

In 2019, she was reassigned to Summer Free For All as their Recreation Leader. When COVID-19 hit the world in early 2020, Terrie continued her practice of wearing many different hats around PP&R. She helped out wherever the community and bureau needed her, serving as Golf Greeter, Parks Greeter, and Summer Free For All Lunch + Play Lead, while also working at the Portland Tennis Center and Gateway Urban Park before FINALLY landing at her permanent home here at the Multnomah Arts Center.
