Kate Loomis

Textiles Instructor

Kate Loomis has been teaching weaving and dyeing classes since 2002. She has a strong interest in helping adults and kids explore color and design through weaving and hand-dyeing.

Kate started at MAC in 2005. She has a background in anthropology, design, and architectural model building. Her other accomplishments include serving as a builder and interpreter at Boston Children’s Museum and being a self-employed architectural model builder with clients such as Nike and Laurence Ferar & Associates.
