Literary Arts Instructor
Christine Colasurdo is the author of “Return to Spirit Lake: Life and Landscape at Mount St. Helens” and “The Golden Gate Parks: A Photographic Journey” as well as two poetry chapbooks. A Portland native, Christine earned her double BA in French and English from Portland State University and her MA in English Literature from UC-Berkeley. She is the recipient of a US Forest Service residency and a Fishtrap fellowship. She has written for Sunset, Audubon, Sierra, Orion and other magazines, and her poems have appeared in a variety of journals. She is working on a second book about Mount St. Helens.
