Little Artists Preschool Asst. Teacher
Sarah received a BA in Fine Arts and English Literature from Stonehill College, near Boston, MA. In Massachusetts, She worked both as an editor for an arts magazine and a toddler teacher at an arts-centric preschool before relocating to Portland, OR with her husband in 2009. There she decided to concentrate for a while on her own art making, attending a certificate program at the Oregon College of Art and Craft where she studied bookbinding and painting.
While in Portland, Sarah created a traveling curriculum of art classes which she presents at schools, book stores, libraries, and other venues. Sarah is thrilled to be joining the community of Little Artists preschool as the Assistant Twos Teacher. She finds inspiration in the way toddlers explore, learn, grow, and see the world every day and is happy when she can help nurture that growth and sight. When not teaching, Sarah paints. She is represented in Portland by Blackfish Gallery, as well as galleries on the Oregon Coast and the Greater Boston area.
