Marie Pearson

Children’s Art and Adult Visual Arts Programs

Marie Pearson is a visual artist and licensed art teacher. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Art and Art History from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Lewis and Clark College. Marie has taught drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and bookbinding. In addition, she is an instructor for OMSI’s youth summer science classes and has taught yoga classes at a studio in SE Portland. In her spare time, Marie enjoys encaustic painting, bookmaking, practicing yoga, biking, hiking, and cooking.
