MAC is the Multnomah Arts Center, a program of Portland Parks & Recreation that provides high quality instruction & participation in the visual & performing arts to all interested persons.

MACA is the Multnomah Arts Center Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the vibrancy and health of MAC through fundraising and advocacy.

Patrick Caplis

Music – Piano

Patrick Caplis has graced the halls of the Multnomah Arts Center since 1991. Patrick holds a BA in Dance and Music from Eastern Michigan University. His teaching style is loosely based on piano pedagogy coursework similar to his experience at Portland State University, under the instruction of Mary Kogen, working with technique, music theory, rhythm practice, ear training, improvisation, composition and music history.
