Michael Thomas Copper
Michael has studied literature and theatre at Oregon State University, the University of Oregon, San Francisco State University, and Portland State University, where he received his degree. His first novel, 42, was published in 2008 by Ooligan Press. Also in 2008 his 10-minute play Tongue, Tied was presented at The Humana Festival of New American Plays, which subsequently led to Samuel French publishing a collection of his short plays. Michael has also served on the Willamette Writers board of directors and as stage lead for Wordstock, Portland’s Festival of the Book.
