Textiles – Weaving
Kathleen Monaghan teaches weaving and textile art at the Multnomah Arts Center. She has been teaching for about 20 years. Kathy holds a BA in Art Education from Eastern Washington University, and an MA in Curriculum & Instruction, Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley College, Cambridge, Mass. She is the past president of the Spokane Handweaver’s Guild and has received an Art Teacher of the Year award from the Washington Arts Alliance. Kathy currently works for Pendleton Woolen Mills. She is also the author of “You Can Weave, Projects for Young Weavers” and has appeared on The Linda MacPhee Workshop.
