Chuck writes, performs, and records music for people of all ages. He has released four recordings of original music, and his songs have received national radio airplay. His popular children’s recording Dancing With No Shoes On (2012) is now in its second pressing.

A former classroom teacher, Chuck holds degrees in both music and elementary education. He has taught at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music in their popular Wiggleworms™ music program and contributed to their hit Wiggleworms Love You CD. After leaving Chicago for Arizona, Chuck continued to develop his own original material and programming for libraries and schools. He has spent much of the last decade as a troubadour — performing and teaching throughout Arizona.

Rich Warren of Sing Out! Magazine wrote, “Chuck Cheesman deserves greater recognition among young singer/songwriters…” In 2012, Chuck co-produced a benefit CD for the humanitarian group No More Deaths/No Más Muertes. The bilingual project included music by artists including Sweet Honey in the Rock, Michael Franti, and living legend Pete Seeger. It has raised more than $65,000 to help save lives and ease suffering along the US/Mexico border.

As of June of 2013, Chuck and his family are proud to call Oregon home.
