Textiles – Weaving
Barbara has been involved in textiles for over 30 years and started weaving at MAC in 1993. Her main focus is to use weave structures that make cloth look complex and occasionally three-dimensional. Yardage woven using a four-shaft shadow weave was exhibited at Convergence 2002 in Vancouver, BC. She has been teaching at MAC since 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is associated with PHG and the Handweavers’ Guilds of America.
