Adrienne trained in New York at SUNY Purchase and New Actors Workshop with Gene Hackman, Paul Sills, Mike Nichols and Elaine May. While in NY she performed as April in Hot L Baltimore and Alex in On the Verge and appeared in Paul Sills’ improv shows. Returning to Portland in 1994 with her company Toad City Productions she focused on improv and new work directing and performing with them for 13 years and was the Director of the IFCC for its final 5 years. She is a founding member of Badass Theatre and a board member for Jane: A Theatre Company and company member of The Brody Theatre. She has also directed for Stark Raving Theatre, Integrity and JANE and for young people throughout NW including DaVinci Arts Middle School, Young Musicians and Artists and the Portland Theatre Brigade which she founded in 1999. Favorite performances include the lead in The Choice (Stark Raving), Cat References to Salvador Dali… (Miracle Theatre), Cynthia The Real Inspector Hound, Vanessa Jingle Spree (CoHo), Izzy Rabbit Hole (ART), Mom Tales of A Fourth Grade Nothing (OCT), Camille Deadly Murders (Lakewood), Merteuil Dangerous Liaisons (BagnBaggage), Antonia (The Tempest) Portland Shakespeare Project, and Wanda in The Waiting Room (Bump in the Road) winning a Drammy for best actress in a lead role. She can currently be seen improvising around town with The Knockouts!
